Led by Directors with enthusiasm and passion for what they do. They focus predominantly in the medium project space and are preferred suppliers for a number of larger clients.
They are now looking for a driven and motivated commercially minded estimator or senior estimator that is interested in becoming a part of this company's future contributing to the profit targets and setting out overall direction.
Working with the commercial director, the key focus of the role is to assist in managing the tendering and estimating tasks of the construction process from start to completion, the role requires precision estimating understanding margins and quality tendering. Areas of responsibility include, analysing information for the preparation and presentation of tender projects, attending meetings, identifying opportunities for growth and evaluating the feasibility of these opportunities, process improvement, and ensuring quality.
This role requires you to work both autonomously and as part of team with accountability, it requires being responsive to change and achieving commercial profit targets.
In order to be a success in this position, you must have at least 5-6 years of estimating experience across a range of commercial builds as well as knowledge of the local market, understanding rates and commercial construction legislation. You possess a relevant tertiary qualification.
